FS Very nice Kenwood Basic Series M2 power amp. This unit was made from around 1983 to 1985. This is the M2 not 2A. The M2 has a slightly cleaner clearer sound then the M2A .I used to work in the audio biz back then and the Kenwood M2 was a goto amp for many demos. This amp is in excellent condition and needs nothing. There are some light footmarks on top ,very light. Everything works perfectly as it should Including all lights and controls. Features DLD (high dynamic output) and the option of Sigma Drive. Rated at 220 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 320 into 4 ohms with dynamic power of 325 into 8 ohms and 424 into 4 ohms. The amp weighs 35lbs and is well built.
Has outputs for speakers A and B as well as headphones. Also level controls for right and left chabnnel and meter range and peak hold time options.
All in alll a very well respected high current amp in great shape and works perefectly. Includes the power cord and a copy of the owners manual. Asking $225 Thanks

Greetings Geppy!
Nice looking amp! I am not familiar with the speaker cable connectors. Are they a screw type? Or lock type? GLWTSCarl -

I owned an M2 for a while. It's a beast. The sigma drive really brings out the low end in hard to drive speakers. Totally stable to 4 ohms if not lower. It is very picky to what pre is hooked up to it however. But a well matched pre is a great combo. Very underrated amp and a bargin at 225. Anyone driving LSi series speakers with an AVR should look hard at this.
