Ok...not really and this is more frustration than tounge in cheek. My Onkyo TX-NR5007 which I bought used and then learned later did not have a serial number STICKER gave up the HDMI ghost. Yup, I am now the proud owner of a 65# HDMI switcher with no sound. I took it from Cincinnati, OH to Carmel, IN to get it to an authorized repair center and now they are telling me they may not even sell me the repair part on MY dime...geesh...and I LOVE the sound that thing made.
So, NASCAR season starts tonight so the NAD 7220PE comes out from the garage to save my sanity. Time for a beer:biggrin:

What shop in Carmel did you take it too outta curiosity."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
I hope it's not stolen...bought it here:rolleyes: more likely a gray market sale originaly
It went to AV electronics service center on station dr. IRONY-I suggested my dad buy a 707 model based on my impression of my 876. HIS failed within a month of my 5007 and his is "one time extended" warrenty covered so thats where they sent him. When I told my wife I was going to pull my HDMI board and try to reflow the BGA chips in the oven because it acted like a cold solder and I didnt see any hot spot caps, she made me send it with him...
