That guy is a pro, look how he has cataloged everything and priced the more desirable stuff...
-
That is a hell of a list. If it Swiss gear how do you understand the words to the songs? There must be some software out there to change it to English or something.Too much **** to list....

That boy is going to die with a lot of that stuff still in the house. The Mrs. is not going to be happy when that happens.

Got a little excited when I scrolled down and saw this:
V,s scores books on militaria, guns, aircraft, submarines, rockets, cold war, nuclear war, civil defense,
atomic bombs, hydrogen bombs
Dam ! He's got atomic and hydrogen bombs ! Doesn't say what yield, but they've got to beat the sparkler bombs that we ...... oh, wait a second ...... dam.
It's just BOOKS about atomic bombs, hydrogen bombs. Darn text wrapping !!
That Fluke 97 50 Mhz scopemeter for $600 can be had easily on Ebay for $500 or less.
Mr. Grand is correct, this guy's going to have a full garage at the end of the day. Might be a good opportunity to show up towards the end of the day, pocket full of cash, his wife hollering at him that "I said I wanted that stuff GONE !!", and you there providing solutions. Cheap solutions.
Somebody here at CP close by needs to check this out.Sal Palooza -

I would speculate that he is already "dead" and that's his son/daughter selling that garage off?
cnhCurrently orbiting Bowie's Blackstar.!
Polk Lsi-7s, Def Tech 8" sub, HK 3490, HK HD 990 (CDP/DAC), AKG Q701s
[sig. changed on a monthly basis as I rotate in and out of my stash] -
That could very well be. That would perhaps explain why all the gear listed isn't priced.
It doesn't appear that it's a case of just pricing the higher end/dollar gear. Some midrange gear is priced, others aren't.
Still think it's wishful thinking on the sellers part:
PIONEER SX-1980 THE BIGGEST BADDEST-$1000.00-NOT WORKING, $2K FIXED.
They almost always sell for more then they're "worth" (like the Sansui 9090db receivers), but still ... ? At a "garage sale" ?
Mcintosh MC-275-WITH CAGE -$3300.00
Not a tube guy, but what version ? Anniversary Edition, or ? Seems like that should be cheaper at a garage sale.
SANSUI SP5000 SP-5000 4WAY 7SPEAKER-$500.00 PAIR
I follow Sansui gear on ebay/Craigslist, and that's high and you really have to have a "want" to buy them.
Kind of curious about
1952 KLIPSCH REBEL III CORNER SPEAKER WITH 15" JBL
Is this just the subwoofer ? And is that 15" JBL a replacement driver ? After the Klipschorn, my knowledge of Klipsch gear goes off the road quickly.
So, somebody stop by this place and check it out. Either it'll be a goldmine experience or a butt-your-head-against-a-brickwall experience. :biggrin:Sal Palooza -
I have seen this ad or one very similar a number of times over the last two years. This seems to be a business of sorts.I got static in my head
The reflected sound of everything -
That's exactly what it is. My brother does the same thing.
-
The ad says Baltimore but its a DCphone number.I called and had to leave a message.Hours later an old guy called back and left a message.I didn't pick up since the call was coming from a 206 area code.Washington state.
Figured it was a wrong number or BS call.
So you tell me.Seems odd.
