    That is a hell of a list. If it Swiss gear how do you understand the words to the songs? There must be some software out there to change it to English or something.

    Got a little excited when I scrolled down and saw this:

    That Fluke 97 50 Mhz scopemeter for $600 can be had easily on Ebay for $500 or less.

    Mr. Grand is correct, this guy's going to have a full garage at the end of the day. Might be a good opportunity to show up towards the end of the day, pocket full of cash, his wife hollering at him that "I said I wanted that stuff GONE !!", and you there providing solutions. Cheap solutions.

    Somebody here at CP close by needs to check this out.

    That could very well be. That would perhaps explain why all the gear listed isn't priced.
    It doesn't appear that it's a case of just pricing the higher end/dollar gear. Some midrange gear is priced, others aren't.

    Still think it's wishful thinking on the sellers part:
    PIONEER SX-1980 THE BIGGEST BADDEST-$1000.00-NOT WORKING, $2K FIXED.
    They almost always sell for more then they're "worth" (like the Sansui 9090db receivers), but still ... ? At a "garage sale" ?

    Mcintosh MC-275-WITH CAGE -$3300.00
    Not a tube guy, but what version ? Anniversary Edition, or ? Seems like that should be cheaper at a garage sale.

    I follow Sansui gear on ebay/Craigslist, and that's high and you really have to have a "want" to buy them.

    1952 KLIPSCH REBEL III CORNER SPEAKER WITH 15" JBL
    Is this just the subwoofer ? And is that 15" JBL a replacement driver ? After the Klipschorn, my knowledge of Klipsch gear goes off the road quickly.

    So, somebody stop by this place and check it out. Either it'll be a goldmine experience or a butt-your-head-against-a-brickwall experience. :biggrin:

    The ad says Baltimore but its a DCphone number.I called and had to leave a message.Hours later an old guy called back and left a message.I didn't pick up since the call was coming from a 206 area code.Washington state.
    Figured it was a wrong number or BS call.
    So you tell me.Seems odd.
