Anyone heard of Liberty speaker cable?

I was at a local record shop chatting with the owner and he told me that he uses Liberity copper or silver cable for his speakers. He said the copper cables carry about 120 more strands of copper than the high end monster stuff, and it only costs $1.25 a foot.

This is sure as hell a lot more agreeable than some of that $200-300 per meter premade stuff. Sounded good too.. although his equipment is considerably better than mine :)

also, Quad speakers are impressive.

I have some interconnects and some speaker wire. are they good? Im still not sure how much diff cables make. Some days i notice, some days i think its just my brain.

good buy tho. i picked mine up from onecall.com, i bought what they had on clearance, that way it was even cheaper.

There is a cable demo program that has been begun in the 2 Channel area, if that interests you guys.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    KeithV,

I was using Liberty copper speaker wire for my fronts until about a year ago when i went with Monster bi wires.

but i still use Liberty High Def 14 guage from my surrounds... since it's a longer cable run. I've been very happy with it for a few years now..and you're right.. about 1/4 the price of Monster XP or similar.

    good stuff
