I got a Led Zeppelin DVD for Christmas 2003. It has concert footage from 1969 to 1979. I had watched parts of it a few times when I first got it. At that time my sound system and tv were nothing special.
Last night I decided on a whim to put it in. WOW!!! It is awesome. I now have a LCD HD Projector w/ a 100 inch screen along w/my SDA 1C's etc. I was blown away by this DVD. Jimmy Page is incredible!!! The whole band is incredible. I was born in 1963 and certainly loved Led Zeppelin growing up. Unfortunately I never got to see them live. Wish I had a time machine. Well at least I have this DVD. ( I can't even watch Celebration Day anymore after watching this).

I bought that DVD and lent it to a friend in California. He of course still has it. I'll have to get that back, because although I remember I thought it was okay, and there were some special moments, I think I will have to try it again because there are many such things that for whatever reason we make a quick judgments about and then later realize there is much more substance to. Thanks for the thread. I also never saw Zep live, although I have kicked myself in the azz for not going to see them in Minneapolis in about 1975 with some friends, including that same guy who I loaned the DVD to. I also passed up seeing Yes around that same time period. Fer cri yi!

I saw them in 69 before Two was released, but they were doing material that was released on it! Still remember the Moby Dick/Bring It On Home set! This is when they had to play to eat,and guys they blew that place apart! I think the ticket price was four or five bucks! Zep was one of the all time best hard rock groups of that era bar none! Listening to Bonnie Raitt Slipstream..been out a while, very good effort...one of her best!

Yep. Just the Earls Court portion alone is worth the price of admission. My humble setup...
...is no more. -
I bought 2 of them (one as a backup copy) because I thought it was that good!
Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion."
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....
