Will be the haunting sounds of The South Jersey Snowblower Symphony Orchestra. This **** sucks.

I WANTED to spend some time listening to Max Steiner's score from the original 1933 movie, "King Kong". I gave that to myself as a birthday present a couple weeks ago. Kong was "The Man" and one bad ****. I can identify with him, as I didn't get the girl either. You have to love a guy whose idea of romance is to bang away on top of The Empire State Building. On the OUTSIDE top of The Empire State Building.

I understand there is ANOTHER re-make of Kong in the works. This should be absolutely terrible, as those Hollywood types couldn't think their way out of a freakin' paper bag. Seeing how America just LOVES to plop money down on worthless re-makes of great movies, it's probably not going to end anytime soon.

I just came in from our little winter wonderland here in Baltimore. Had to chop and hack all that damn ice and snow off the car. To top it off...that wind is COLD!

I'm praying we don't see anything this year remotely like that 2 1/2 feet we had last year!

Jesse...see you and Mark tomorrow! I'm excited!!! You're going to love the Senator!!!

I've been to the Senator more times than I can remember, it is a beautiful place......a movie theater done right....looking forward to it.

Don't worry Jesse, Mickey D's is only a convenient spot for us to meet. I wouldn't be that cruel to my fellow Polk clan.

We have a couple of places in mind to dine. We'll kick back for a bit, chow down and watch some NFL action before our feature flick for the evening.

A small change in plan, that I'll email Mark about. My Brother is picking me up, so we'll be in his Jeep SUV and not the Mustang.

I'll watch for the "White Van" men. Roll up beside us and say..."Hey, ya wanna buy some awesome stereo equipment for a real good price? We've been authorized to sell this at a deep discount!" :D

A good time was had by all. John's brother is a cool guy....... John..well, he's ok too. ;)

Mark and I want to trade jobs with John for a couple of nights...hehe.

This was the first time I had seen the LOTR and although one long **** movie, I truly enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to the second one next weekend. Thanks again John!

    Jesse:

Glad you liked the movie. #2 will be awesome! The Helm's Deep battle is one roller coaster ride! #2 is also as long as the first.

I'm afraid you'll have to stand in a long line to have my job for a night. :D

Speaking of which...gotta get ready to go to work (if you want to call it that).

With ALL DUE RESPECT sir, a few more books instead of re-makes of movies, and you might not make statements such as the one you made awhile back on THIS forum.

"To the best of my knowledge, no country has ever used a nuclear weapon on another country."

Does Hiroshima, or Nagasaki, or World War II come CLOSE to ringing a bell out there?

John, George is referring back to a comment I made about nuclear weapons. I did not know that the weapons used back then were of nuclear design. That comment is coming from way back, over 2 years ago.

Thanks for the invite John. Definitely my kind of company (yourself, Dorokusai, and F1), but definitely NOT my kind of entertainment. Plus, I don't like your brother.
