I just put in Obama's speech from today in Atlanta. It only registered a 0.13. I don't trust the meter because we all know it should have been 100%

We should try putting in some of the long-winded posts that come up around here some times. I can think of a few members...

Ok, now I'm really surprised. I put in some review articles from Stereophile (esp from Michael Fremer and John Atkinson), and they both were fairly low on the BS meter. I say the machine is broken. Doesn't work as advertised ;)

Here let me test it...I know exactly what to check it against......

Yep broken - only a 78% BS factor when I know without a doubt it was 100%.

I used a post from my Calc class. You ought a hear some of the **** taken as truth in that class. It's a full time job for the professor just to stop erroneous information.

A little more clarification, please? Statements from "students" or the "Prof" or "both"?

As for BS. One man's BS is another's "Pulitzer" and Vice Versa. lol

Then there are POETS! Just what does one do with guys and gals who birth "language", create new meanings and often baffle the public with their erudition?

Hers a quick one. I'll find more if you want. The question was....Describe how to find the domain and range of a function. Provide and example.

To find the domain and range of a function you must use the numbers provided. The domain is all of the x's and the range is all of the y's.

    For example (2,-3), (4, 6), (3,-1), (6, 6), (2, 3)

    so the domain is (2,3,4,6)
    range is (-3,-1,3,6)

It's students, not the Doc. They have tapered off a bit as she was sort of told to can it by one of the other students that followed her until they flunked the quiz. After that she has been rather low key. This is not the worst by far but I can only go back two weeks or so on others posts.
