So I just picked up a set of TL350 and a PSW108
The speakers are not bad straight from the box so I can assume once worked in they should be rather good.
The Sub i'm unsure about, I wanted the PSW111 but they didnt have it in stock and looks like they maybe hard to get right now with the current promotion going on.
What is people views on this sub with the TL350? I know it's not a high end sub.
At the moment I just plugged them into my current setup a Denon AVC-A1SE and noticed that I needed to crank the volume much more than I would normally need to.
The TL350 and sub is going to be used in another room so I was looking at the Denon AVC-2113CI to run them.
Do you guys think the 2113 amp is going to have enough power to drive the TL350, I was surprised I needed to turn up my current amp so much, I normally listen at around -30 but I needed to go up to -20 to get around the same volume and even then I felt maybe -18 or -16 could have been better.
My questions:
1. How much time to break them in the TL and the sub?
2. Is the PSW108 a nice match for the TL350?
3. Will a Denon AVR-2113ci be OK for running this setup?
(60% music and the rest TV and gaming with the odd movie)

I would get one of the Polk DSW subs and definately upgrade the receiver to get one that has preouts and more power. What the increase in volume is trying to tell you is that it requires more power to push the TL3s than it does your other speakers.
I know you (everyone wants to save money but sometimes it's better to spend more up front on something that you truly want and will be better since you will have them for a long time.Marantz AV-7705 PrePro, Classé 5 channel 200wpc Amp, Oppo 103 BluRay, Rotel RCD-1072 CDP, Sony XBR-49X800E TV, Polk S60 Main Speakers, Polk ES30 Center Channel, Polk S15 Surround Speakers SVS SB12-NSD x2 -
I agree with the SUB but my old AMP is 170w x 7 you think I need more power than that to drive the TL350 ?TL350s + PSW108 + Denon AVR-2113ci

Your Denon is more than enough to drive the TL350's. Check your settings in the receiver and tweek them a bit, speaker levels, crossover settings, etc. Also, what cables are you using ? Are the speakers hooked up to the sub or the receiver ?HT SYSTEM-

Basically what I did was sit the TL's on top of my old floor standing speakers, then move the cable from the old to the TL's
I'm using QED speaker cable all the speakers are connected to the receiver.
Like I say this is not the final config or even the room they will be used in.
My old AMP is in the basement and this is used for movies, AVC-A1SE, REL (Storm III) sub, Mission 733 Floor standing front and rear with a mission centre, they are rated at 89db @ 8 ohm
Perhaps I'm just expecting too much from the TLs, of course they will not create the wall of sound my current rig can muster.
I'm also sure they need to run in that I hope will open up the sound.
Really I was just getting worried that the new Denon AMP (not got it yet) would not power it well.
The final setup will be in our lounge around 14x18 feet, it's more of a secondary system for music gaming and TV.
The AVC-2113 I'm looking at is rated at 95w
In terms of the cross over on the PSW108 I had it about 100 and the volume just a TAD under the middle setting, it was getting a bit boomy more than middle volume. Again I think this needs to burn in some what.TL350s + PSW108 + Denon AVR-2113ci -
Whats just a tad under the middle setting ? On most dials, the middle can be right at the - or + marks. Way to high and your in danger of toasting these off the bat.
Don't expect them to sound like a full 5.1 system with floorstanders. You won't squeeze the same volume out of them.Once you get that volume dial close to the -5 area lets say, your hitting the danger zone.HT SYSTEM-
