The Car Audio Forums get invaded by the Childish Twit Brigade on a spamming run and the Off Topic forum still gets to talk about Diesel F-350's! What gives?

    I don't know man, I've emailed Justin - something needs to be done. I personally think no more 'guests', you register, or you dont post.

    JSTAS- I can't believe you stuck with that garbage after three pages. I would have just quit... Other than thinker, the rest of the "guests" were childish morons that there was no way that you could ever reason with. 7 pages of name calling against just you. :rolleyes:

    That said, I agree with Russ- no register, no post..
    There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin

    See now, I'd really hate to see that go. Alot of the questions and traffic that pops up comes from "guests" just looking for a little help. Some of them come off as a little too cocky sometimes but for the most part it is a healthy thing for the forum. It's just a total shame that abuse like that has to happen. I'd really like to know who it was that went and started the "war" by antagonizing the horde to descend on the forum. It was totally uncalled for and I find it hard to believe that with the overwhelmingly low opinion of Polk that one of them just happened to stumble onto the thread.

    Anyway, it's not my decision to make and the admins will do as they see fit. I just wouldhate to see it go because I think that alot of the questions that get asked may not get asked if the registration wall is thrown up. Not many one time questioners would bother to go through it.

    Although I apparently read the PG version, I still got several laughs out of that mega train wreck... almost all out of "guests" posts, most of whom were clearly the same person.

    Funny thing was that while Polk subs are generally considered middleton for home audio with little controversy, the mere suggestion that the same was true of the car line was taken as heresy.

    Then an old "friend" takes a general comment personally and it's off to "yo' mama-land." Not like we've not seen that before.

    EDIT - Almost forgot... out of two posts attempting to explain why deep bass is not localized, zero were correct...
