Lots of spam lately

Would it be possible to have like a 12 or 24 hour waiting period for posts? I know it'll ruffle feathers but man the spam lately is horrible.
Too much **** to list....

    I feel like the mods have actually been doing a better job of clearing it up lately.

    Definitely doing a good job by the mods but man every two days we get a full run. WTF?

    Seems like a lot more lately to me. This new one has 35 posts! There has to be a way to block them.

    Have to say, the other forums I'm on don't seem to have this much, but it could be that they are a bit more active and have bigger mod teams than this one. Mods are doing a good job regardless, probably sucks for them even more than for us. :)

    I agree. The mods are doing a good job at clearing it up fast. But i'll tell ya its a frustrating job. I was a mod on a site and we got hit really hard by the same kinda spam, It took over an hour to go through and delete every thread, and ban the guy. Just to have another one do the same the next day. Talk about seeing red

    I was in Menards the other day getting some building supplies and wandered through their food section looking for some sardines and lo and behold right next to the sardines was a great big pile of SPAM...ain't it great.:razz:

    I like Spam fried occasionally with scrambled eggs, but not very often I can assure you.

    I do however like Sardines!

    In oil drained, and with some mustard, slice of onion on a cracker.

    Great source of protein, I grew up eating them (my grandfather was a big fan).
