Just ordered HSU vtf 2 sub. That's the last purchase until my mad money account is healthy again. I will set lsi9s to small--- what is the best hook up to the receiver? I would like to put the sub either behind or beside where my wife and I set . To do this I plan on runnig the sub and surround speaker wire through white pvc following the wall along the floor
about 30 feet- Is this too far? What would be the best wire and hook up to sub and receiver? Thanks for all comments rex

NPM - Nice sub choice. :)

The easiest hookup method is the AVR sub pre-out, with a single RCA cable. I don't personally think it is too far, but I would use a quality interconnect.

As far as the best? I have no idea, but suggest Signal Cable as a starting point. They can custom terminate any length you wish, down to the inch.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
