So I was watching Judge dredd in 3d and powered down the JVC x30 to have a break and get ready to watch total recall. Well went to switch the pj back on and boom, 2 flashing red and orange lights pulsing 3 times. Looked up the manual and its power anomalies grrrrrr, this projector has has 10 hours on it so now I have to send it to NJ for repair because its an x30. Shipping will be killer on this and repairs take around 6 weeks I have heard

I have the Optoma gt750 but the 3D is not very good because its only 720p so now I am up **** criz. I can't wait freakin 6 weeks so now I will have to destroy the funds i had saved for a dac and buy a new pj after all. There is a new benq 1070 that came out and it has 144hz 3D in 1080 and a new version of dark chip 3, these features are usually found on the 15k runco high end pj's. None of my stores have this model and looks like I will have to order one online and sell it at a loss when my jvc comes back to me

I should have just kept the epson 5010 because they rush you out a new pj if anything happens that same day. This blows my mind that this has happened as its always hooked up to a panamax power conditioner and has been stationery since I received it. My optoma gt750 goes everywhere I go, I take it to friends and family for online gaming and the lamp has taken a proper beating and never had no problems s it just goes to show

How do you break so much stuff? I thought I was hard on stuff but man you break everything. LOL I mean...sorry to hear that bro. I have heard turning on and off a halogen lamp (or that kind of filament thing) can pop stuff both the lamp and the circuits.
    Too much **** to list....

Isnt it under warranty? If so, use the other projector for the duration of the time that the jvc is out of service. I know it must kill you to watch something in 720p for 6 weeks, but "having" to buy a new projector just sounds like an excuse to get a new one. If you have the disposable income than have at t. But IMO its a HUGE waste of money.
