Squeezebox Touch with Upgraded Power Supply

I've installed an Airport Express in a couple rigs and have decided to sell one of my Squeezebox Touch devices. I have three of these, am keeping one in the main rig for hi-rez audio playback and am keping another as a backup just in case because these are getting harder and harder to find.

If you're looking at this thread then you probably already know what a Squeezebox Touch is, and you probably also know that these are no longer being sold by retailers and are becoming increasingly hard to find and as a result prices have gone up. The whole thing is a shame really because it's such a wonderful device, which is why I'm keeping two.

Mine is in perfect condition, both functionally and cosmetically.

I'm also including an upgraded power supply, it's an ELPAC power supply with the upgrades done by Bolder Cable. The power supply significantly improves the sound quality over the switching power supply that comes with the player, significantly. The power supply does have some transformer hum that you can hear from a couple feet away, but it does not affect performance and I've been assured (by Bolder and by you guys here) that there's no risk in using it, I've used it with the hum for probably close to a year and had zero problems and the hum hasn't gotten any louder or changed at all.

Prices on these are all over the place, but my best guess on an average selling price on eBay would be $400 with shipping by the time you throw out the broken ones that sell for $200 and the crazy people who buy them for $700. Mine is in perfect condition, comes with the box, AND includes an upgraded power supply (if you were to buy an upgraded PS now it starts at around $200 and goes up from there).

I'd like to get $350 plus shipping for it.

It'll take me a couple days to get it shipped out, I know the box is in storage but I have to go dig it out and it'll take me a day or two to get over there.

This is true, but the goal here is to pass it along to someone who will use it at a good price, hopefully not to someone just looking to flip it to make a quick buck. That's not a requirement, but has always been the general idea here...

Given what these things are selling for now on eBay, even without the power supply, this is a good deal. Throw in a Bolder power supply and this becomes a killer deal. GLWTS

If anyone is interested in just the SB Touch, I'd be interested in the power supply. And I say that not trying to get you to split it up, only to help the sale in case someone only wanted the Touch.

This scares me. I live less than 20 miles away, but we decided it'd be just as easy to ship the PS rather than to try and meet up. I know that he shipped it a few days ago and it's still not here. They could have walked it to me in less time:lol:
