Hello everybody,Polks!!!Complete newbee here trying to set up home theather.I got Yamaha rxA1020 in5.1 set up for now,in couple of days going to 7.1 basic.Speakers are Monitors 65t L/R,CS2 center, and Monitors 50 as surrounds.Back surround will be cadence passive dual set(for now).Room is 22 by11 roughly with one side open to dining room area.My question is :do i need amplifier and what power?I try to keep it as compact as possible(Wife factor),so 5 or 7 channel amp will be only my option.I do not trying to rock the house(only when house is empty,lol).75% movies/25 music on dolby defaults.Pls help,Yours opinion greatly appreciated

The Yamaha should be adequate. The speakers are fairly easy to drive, and the space is not huge. Give it a while, and if you feel like something is missing, you can always add an amp later.
