Turntable Suggestions?

I'm looking for help selecting a turntable, I replaced my system back in June and have been looking at turntables ever since, I've looked at a wide range of tables from the $330 fully autos from Denon & Marantz up to the $2000 Rega RP6 with the exact cart., & can't decide which would be the best fit in my system.
My new system consists of: Parasound new classic 2100 pre, the 2125 amp, Marantz 6004 cdp & a pair of Polk RTia7's.
I would like to get the best sound possible without getting to crazy, is what I have worthy of a 2K table or would something in the 1k or less range be better?
I know how you guys like to spend other peoples money so here's your chance:cheesygrin: keep in mind that whatever I decide to buy I will be buying new.

Personally, go with a Rega RP1 and put the difference towards moving up from the RTia7's to a pair of LSiM's. Then go back and move up the cartridge ladder when more money comes in.Review Site_ (((AudioPursuit)))

I'd go with the Transrotor Gravita if I could.

As an owner of a Rega RP1 with the performance pack I'd recommend the RP3 over the RP1. Much better tonearm and a 24v motor make for a better sound and upgrade path.System Details:

PAH-Speaking strictly from personal experience, I recently purchased the RP6/Exact combo and was very pleased with the results. Originally used a Parasound 2250 running a pair of original SDA-SRS's and loved all the detail, especially at lower volume (now using a Halo amp). I don't think you can go wrong with any of the Rega's, from RP1-RP6. Great sound from each, and you can always invest in a cartridge upgrade at any point in the future given you are starting with a good TT and tonearm.

Was only recommending the RP3 over the RP1 since the RP3 has the same arm as the RP6 aka the RB303 which is a better arm than the RB101 on the RP1. Depending on the cartridges used down the road having a removable end stub so you can use aftermarket weights is a definite plus.
On another note that RP6 is a nice table as well. I would buy one right now if I could afford it so if i bought another table this year it would be an RP3. Then I could carry over whatever mods I have on the RP1 to the new table such as a machined aluminum subplatter and maybe a delrin platter.System Details:

Check out Music Hall.....they handle LP's quite nicely!

Thanks for the suggestions, right now I have it narrowed down to the RP3, RP6 or the Marantz TT-15S1.
Have you had any isolation issues with your Regas?
