Thanks to member halenhoang sending them my way. I am posting to show they made if safely. And I think they look better in person. These were the ones nikolas812 did back in 2008 and they are still around. Look up his pix as mine won't do them justice.

I look forward to comparing them to my XO modded cherry ones. Unfortunately the HDMI board failed on my onkyo 5007 tonight so no listening for now:evil: but thats another thread to start.

    CC13,

Am happy to see and know. I have owned countless pairs of Lsi 9s through the years, I bought 3 pairs before I bought the 4 one here on Polk Audio. Which also brought me here, joined this place, met and made some awesome friends. The Maple Lsi 9s that you have were my 4th pair and I believe I was the third owner. So, that makes you, great great grandfather!! Try hooking up silver wires to them, and let me know what you think in comparison to your modded 9s. If you do not have any, let me know. I just happen to have some solid ( not copper coated ) silvers.... Sorry hiccup, the asian in me.. It is a joke.. but then again, it is not.. LOL

I have more light bulbs to buy!! hahahaha

I'm surprised the transaction went smoothly, I've only had issues dealing with that guy. I got some speaker cables from him a while back. Come to find out, he WAY overcharged me for them.

Lay off the sauce bro. Come get your **** out of my garage already!!!

lol. That's it, I am inviting myself to one of your Poker nights and I am bringing the sauce!! You are gonna have to wager for your Dark Knight BluRay. The funny thing? I am gonna use your ( way overcharged cable ) money, to take the rest of it. hahaha

Back on topic, I did kinda miss saying bye to the Maple Lsi 9's.

So this isn't interpreted wrong. I found a good deal for Halen and he ended up giving me some SC's I had previously demo'd as a karma. I figured he'd respond quicker and don't want anyone to think of him as anything but a stand-up guy.

Being a Texan myself, I figured the sarcasm was implied. You guys are making me homesick! Keep a seat open for me, I might just drop in myself one day.

What??? You think the $900 plus shipping he charged was too much? Did I get scammed? He assured me on the phone that the deep gouges in the wood and scratches in the paint were used to "sonically tune" them for ultimate frequency response and was done in a custom studio!!! Maybe you can win some of my money back in that poker game.

I have no silver cables. The only silver cable I had was a "Ben's SDA" and I sold that to help me get these. Sounds like I have a new toy to save for once I resolve my Oinker situation.

You forgot. The deep gouges and scratches where fine tunes to my room. So. If they do not sound right in yours, you will need new gouges and scratches to tune them.
You are in luck. My gouges and scratches are currently on sale. 24 hours only.
And. To clean my name. I will refund $50 bucks back to you in a form of a personal check by me, just send $100 to cover my shipping costs!!
I strive to please and don't rest until everyone takes advantage of my mapleSHADY tech break throughs.

Thanks for offering to square things up on this even though I am extremely pleased. Could you change your offer to an overpayment to me via "cashiers check" and I'll immediately send the exta money back to you so I can avoid the payapl fees? I'll cover shipping both ways.
