My new to me GFA-555II thanks to teekay007 who included me in a 2 amp deal he found. I swapped out my 545II with its bigger brother to power my 2B'S the little brother will be powering a pair of CRS+'s. I listened two them both now and the both do a fine job. I did notice a little more detail and bass with the 555II.

Thats what is great about this forum people look out for one another and some pretty good deals to boot, I think I will be climbing out of the rabbit hole soon after some SDA mods. once again thank you teekay:biggrin:

yeah its chilly... cold day at work for sure. i was somewhat inside but needed to be outside dealing with moving materials and vehicles.

i was surprised by the Krell as well. i am originally from Bettendorf, and have family there, so i always check the QC-CL because it would be easy to grab stuff... usually all BigBox store brands and too much car stereo to even read through. it just makes me wonder what else that guy has lurking in his collection.

I would love to swap amps with you for 30 days or so. Always wanted to hear a Parasound. Unfortunately, I think shipping two ways would cost over 100.00.

I am, yeah. He is holding on to it long enough to demo the 703s with it then it takes up residence in my home.

that sucks. a trade like that would be awesome, but yeah, the cost of shipping would be a third of the way to just buying an Adcom..

Happy to help where I can for a fellow Polkie, Steve. Glad to see you're enjoying your GFA-555II and am looking forward to hearing that it impresses you even more once you get all your planned upgrades/mods done to those sweet SDA-2Bs. It really looks good as part of your rig there - kind of like you had that spot just waiting for it.
