My wife is just starting to forget that I just bought a jvc rs45 and a optoma 720 3d pj less than 3 months ago. Benq has just brought a new dark chip 3 st 1080 3d pj with a better native contrast than the 2k benq w7000( dark chip 2) for $1150 on amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B11C6HW/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_7?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Acer has a new one coming to rivaling this and benq has another delux w15000 coming with FRAME INTERPOLATION!! in 3d mode for only $1600!!. All these have dc3 and 3d native res and brightness thats only found in 15k models currently

I have been saving up on the side with some black ops money for stealthy audio purchases. I might have to blow it on another pj that I dont need even though not having a dac is killing me.

Dang... too many good choices. Fortunately, I'm on hiatus from projectors for a while. Sold off my last one almost two years ago, and am still waiting to jump back in. I'm waiting for LED bulbs and 1080p to merge in an affordable unit. When that happens, I'll be joining you in the upgrade morass...

of course, since this is a sound forum, I wouldn't be doing my duty if I didn't tell you to go DAC first...

    good luck deciding.
