I recently purchased this handycam and have been experimenting and checking out its capabilities. I decided to check how well its microphone records audio. Enter my 2 channel set up and my Sdas. I think this cam did a pretty good job.
Check it out and leave me your thoughts.

Hey Tim,
Looks like you've been busy! Nice setup there! But the video is a little "dark" on my monitor? The sound is NOT bad, decided to use headphones, my new Audio Technicas, to listen to the recording. Could it be better? Sure, but then you'd need pro sound recording equipment, I suppose.
How is everything else going?

Things are good, been busy with work, which is good I suppose given there are some with no work. I decided to buy a cam, as I'm taking my wife on a holiday (somewhere) this year. I have been playing with it, getting used to it and more importantly the editing software. I have been trying out Power Director and Adobe. I'm looking forward to some good weather to get out and shoot some video. Anyway, thanks for the reply and I hope things are going well for you."They're always talking about my drinking, but never mention my thirst" Oscar Wilde
