This is a BAT designed Integra Research amplifier. It is rated 150 Watts in 8 Ohms and 300 Watts into 4 Ohms per channel. It has balanced and single ended rca inputs for each of the seven channels. It does weigh around 110 lbs. and is roughly 24 inches deep.
There is more information on the updated model (RDA-7.1) including this review:http://www.audioholics.com/reviews/amplifiers/integra-research-rda-7-1. The specs are basically the same between the two models. (In the forum discussion of the review, Victor Khomenko from BAT clarifies BAT's role in the development of the amp and the difference between the 7.1 and 7: http://forums.audioholics.com/forums/amps-pre-pros-receivers/8613-integra-research-rda-7-1-amplifier-review-2.html).
The specs are here:http://www.integraresearch.com/model.cfm?id=2&level=3.
This is truly a great amplifier, but is overkill for my current set-up (and more than likely any future set-up). I included a few pictures below but can send additional pictures if needed. It is very good cosmetic condition (I have not noticed any blemishes) and works perfectly. I would like to get $1000 for it and will only do local pick-up at this time.
I do have seven Straightwire XLR cables that we could work out a deal on if you would want those as well (3 one meter Rhapsody, 2 one meter Maestro, and 2 two meter Maestro).

Thanks. Arlington, VA right outside of DC. -
That's a steal for a seven channel amp that doubles power into 4 ohm loads. Too bad I'm not doing surround anymore. Good luck with the sale.

Damn. This is a serious, serious amplifier. If it fit in my cabinet I'd be all over it. Good luck.2-Channel: PC > Schiit Eitr > Audio Research DAC-8 > Audio Research LS-26 > Pass Labs X-250.5 > Magnepan 3.7's

i am always amused by comments like this. I just recently bought a huge rotel rmb 1095 and my entertainment unit is made from glass that will not support the 75 lbs that it weighs. What did i do? i pub that **** on the carpet next to my other equipment. For me, if i want an electronic because i know it would improve what i have, i wont let the size of it scare me. Heck, i squeezed a 106 inch screen and i only sit 10ft away from it. -
Wish I were local. Nice amp.

That thing is absolutely enormous! If only I had a home theater usage for it - $1000 for a 7-channel BAT-designed amp is great.

Thanks for the positive comments. I admit that I will not be too disappointed if it does not sell. It is definitely the best amp that I have ever owned (either for stereo or multichannel) and it does pair well with my Anthem D1. The combo is dead silent (I can put my ear all the way up to the tweeter and not hear a sound when nothing is playing) and more importantly is incredible dynamic. The room I have now is small and my speakers are not hard to drive, so I thought I would try a few slightly cheaper amps. I may just end up selling the other amps.
As far as local pick-up, I just mean that I will not pack the amp. If you want to make arrangement for packing and shipping, I will work with you on it. -
I WOULD NOT SELL IT... just dont turn the volume the hell up... I always think for down the road. Maybe some day you move into a bigger place and now you are scrambling to fill the room up with enough sound.

One more bump before giving eBay a try.
-
So you're thinking about shipping this now?

I would try local on eBay first. I might consider shipping eventually, but honestly it is including a local pick up discount right now. I am just trying to avoid having to pack it.
I am going to try a few other amps out, and if I like any of them enough, then I may be more motivated to sell. -

I am starting to look into shipping this amp. If anybody is interested, let me know and I will try to get you some estimates of a shipped cost. If I don't hear back from anybody here and I do hear back from the shipping company, it will go on eBay on Friday.

Nooooooo, You're about a week late. :frown:

It ends up being probably $250 - $300 to properly pack and ship the amp through UPS. It would be a little more through a freight company. I might just decide to keep it, since it is getting to be a pain to try to sell. I do have someone on CL interested, but he of course lives in NY but does have a friend in the DC area. (He does seem legit but still not sure if I want to deal with that.)

People need to forget about classifying something as overkill. There is no such thing, if you like it and it works then you should keep it and enjoy it! You will be kicking yourself if you sell it and then later on down the line end up buying another amp. That right there is money wasted when you already had an amp that you enjoyed.
