What the hell is Polk Time?

Ok.....so here it is, nearing 3pm here in Arizona, and the Polk is telling me that I'm posting at 8:48am. Did Polk somehow bury itself in the middle of the Pacific or what. Where exactly are these Polks made, and what type of village people (don't go there) are you guys using?

p.s. And yes, I have checked my time zone to make sure it's set up correctly in my profile.......

    Brett - You post time looks fine to me. Polk should be EST.

    I think that you are in Bizarro Polk Forum, that's why its strange. :)

    Did you check your "Time Offset" field in your Profile Options? That confused me at first too and I had made sure my time zone was set correctly too.

    Doro.......with the people I've been dealing with lately, I've thought that I was in the midst of a Bizarro Forum too.....hmmmm.:D

    My time offset is set to Pacific, which is accurate (at least half the year when I'm not Mountain), but even if I changed it to Mountain, I'd still be way off........

    I noticed that too! If I select Pacific, then it shorts off about 5 hours of the actual time....

    Arizona doesn't do daylight savings time. Although 7:48 is quite a difference. Maybe they changed to metric.
