H9: If you don't trust what you are hearing, then maybe you need to be less invested in a hobby which all the pleasure comes from listening to music.

That's some pretty wicked cool stuff, Erik. Technology can be amazing sometimes.

It always fascinates me when sci-fi tech starts to become reality.

Awesome! Pretty soon we won't have to get up to grab the remote.

Very interesting, but I wonder how much more R&D and, especially, MONEY will be needed to realize a full scale sci-fi tractor beam. I would assume that the costs, at this point, would be, as USUAL, prohibitive, so that I and a few others might not see such a thing in "our" lifetimes. Budgeting for such things is a XXXXX!

Remember those "flying" cars we were all supposed to have by now? That's what I'm talking about. Projecting these things into the future is tricky from an economic point of view!

And we should have had a man on Mars a number of years ago? But, instead, we're still "talking" about it.

Well, we do have flying cars, cost kinda keep them out of the main stream along with needing a pilots license and an airport everytime you need to take off and land. Personally, I'd like to see the old jet-pak be reborn. Nuthin' like a personal flying getup to start the morning off right. Wonder if they'd come with cup holders, gotta have my morning joe.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....
