I'm in need of the MW7100 drivers and the SL6000 tweeters. Can anyone tell me Are they still avalibale and about how much I'm looking at. I found a pair of cabinets in mint condition for 25.00 bucks less all the drivers.

    Hello Stone,
Welcome to Polk's forum. The best source for tweeter and driver availability is Polk's CS department. You can contact them either via email at: polkcs@polkaudio.com or telephone at: 1-800-377-7655.
    Regards, Ken

I think I found some tweeters in e-bay, but if that doesn't go through I'll be in touch for sure
    Thanks for all your help.

Honestly, for what it's gonna cost you for all the drivers it would be better to find a used set. Polk sells the replacement drivers for $48 IIRC. That's close to $200 just for the woofs. I see 50's quite often on CL, Ebay etc for $100-150. If you're set on resurrecting the ones you have I'd be on the lookout for a cosmetically challenged set and source your parts that way. Just my .02, welcome to CP and the LS club.

Good luck with reviving these. I bought a pair (pay no attention to my signature) in '93 or '94. They still kick a*s today (literally today, I listened to two albums while having a leisurely breakfast). Warm, clear, pure. Surprisingly strong bass for the size. If you close your eyes you have no idea where the music's coming from.

Ken makes a very good point, sometimes it's cheaper if you can find a pair of working LS50's on CL going ridiculously cheap,(like 50-75 bucks, maybe even less:cheesygrin:) because the cabinets are scratched up, missing grills or something.

I passed on a pair in Denver for $50 but depending upon location, they may be quite in demand.
I also 2nd finding another pair for parts because for over $200, you can get a lot more Polk speakers.

    Klipsch RB81, KG3.5, B&W DM602.5, Polk.
Subwoofers: Klipsch RW10, Triad ProSub Bronze.
