    Welcome to the forum.

What exactly is it about your setup's performance that you are unhappy with?

good question, ****, because fitter has an excellent grouping of home theater speakers/sub.

Guessing we're talking speaker/sub placement and receiver settings (crossover, individual volume, format fitting the audio selection, etc.,) at this point.

More details, including how everything's wired would be helpful.

subs usually sound best in a corner. set the sub volume on your receiver to 00 and adjust the volume on your sub. usually 12 O'clock position is pretty normal.. you may need less or more.. depending on your room and listening likes.

Also using a set up disc like Avia and a SPL meter from Radio Shack are must haves for any good home theater to sound it's best. don't skimp on those to things.. they WILL make a difference in your sound quality. trying to set your speaker levels by ear. just doesn't work right.

good luck. come back and ask more questions .

after reading and playing with the on screen display for the setup I decide to return the sub. ASked the sales rep to connect the sub so he could understand what I was talking about. There was discussion he nodded his head yes the sub is defected.returned home with a new sub. now enjoying my setup. now to tweak the system, center, mains, rear, all set to small. the volume control on the sub at 12 oclock. set the receiver sub settings at 0 db lfe.

Totally agree, its the biggest $50 investment you'll make. You'll be amazed by the difference.
