OK, so i acquired these DCM KX10 Series II speakers at the local salvation army but have no idea what they are or if I should keep them or just resell them? They work nice, no issues, but I'm not sold on them. Thoughts? Any one else owned them?

DCM has made some really good speakers in their day. I've owned several sets of Timeframes and currently have a set of TimeWindow 3s and they sound great. Unfortunately DCM was bought out by MTX a few years ago and the KX10s you have above were made aftet the buy out. They are in reality a MTX design. They are good party speakers in the vein of Cerwin Vegas, but not really good for serious listening. If you found any of the Timeframes, TimeWindows, CX-17s, or CX-27s that would be another story all together and I would snatch them up in a heartbeat.

Thanks gents, I only paid $5 a piece for them so to resell they go to fund future speaker upgrades. :)

Listened to them some more today and they do remind one of older stereo speakers, not bad but certainly not audiophile quality. Seriously efficient though at 97 rating.

I'm also a new convert to DCM. I have Time Frame 350s and are clear, and can also handle the lows w/o a problem.I hear the ones to get if you ever see them are the Time Window 7s .Only 200 pairs were made and are very hard to come by.
