They are really hitting up the looks department on some of the new gear. I like it too. Also noticed price tags are going north at a good clip. Regardless, theirs a product line for every budget. The used market is going to get crowded soon.HT SYSTEM-

I'm also glad that industrial design is being considered these days with electronics and speakers.

I feel like the biggest differences is that speaker/component designs are definitely getting more distinctive, and -- like everything else -- the pieces are becoming more and more like mini-computers with tons of tech inside... outside of amps, not much seems simple these days.5.1 theater - Pioneer SC-07, Mirage OMD-CC center, 4 x Mirage Omnisats, Boston Acoustics VPS-210 sub

Well for the first time ever in my gear life, manufacturers are catching up with me (DIY) in regards to hi-res (384/32) and DSD capability with their DAC offerings.
As always, nice to see the new stuff.
EDIT: It would be nice to see a wider and more affordable selection of the hi-res and DSD stuff too. I see more players with hi-res (384) and DSD capability offered. Maybe someday it will happen, but I won't bet on it.Salk SoundScape 8's * Audio Research Reference 3 * Bottlehead Eros Phono * Park's Audio Budgie SUT * Krell KSA-250 * Harmonic Technology Pro 9+ * Signature Series Sonore Music Server w/Deux PS * Roon * Gustard R26 DAC / Singxer SU-6 DDC * Heavy Plinth Lenco L75 Idler Drive * AA MG-1 Linear Air Bearing Arm * AT33PTG/II & Denon 103R * Richard Gray 600S * NHT B-12d subs * GIK Acoustic Treatments * Sennheiser HD650 * -
That Teac's got some impressive specs and it's not priced too badly at $799.Wristwatch--->Crisco
