Been doing a lot of DAC research and this keeps coming up, I think it is a fairly good choice. So far though I still have not actually heard it so curious if anyone here has any personal experience with it.

It's a very good dac and should be on anyones short list for the used price of 4-5 bones. Audiogon always has a few up for sale, give them a whirl.

I've spent lots of time with this DAC and it was very good for its time, but its a few years old now and there are better DACs in that general price range.

It has a very good sound and nice features, but in terms of sound quality alone there are better options out there.

The Peachtree Dac-It won my DAC shoot out a while back and is still my recommendation at the $500 pricepoint

I to had this DAC and you can get a great price at PS Audio if you buy B Stock. It is a bit warm sounding but using a Kimber DL-60 IC helped that to some degree.

As assimilated said, it is getting some years under its belt and in the price range the PS Audio can be obtained you should also look at others, including the Peachtree.

I did enjoy the PS Audio DL.

Thank you for your feedback. I have found out recently too this this DAC was fairly out dated. I am 99% sure I have now decided on the emotiva XDA-2. Full 192/24 via usb, great number of inputs and can run straight to your amp, balanced outputs, remote control, plus more. Looks like a great DAC.
