ok i went to circuit city today and listin to subs couse im goin to upgrade my system this summer.anyway i listin to the new 12 inch momo and the 10 and the 10 sounded preatty good and the 12 sounded like it was vibratin the hell out of somthin so i couldent really tell how good it sounded and i had it runnin on the new momo amp.i also listin to the mm12 in the custom box and gnx 124 and the gnx124 sounded the best out of them all.but my question is isn't the momo spost to be a real awsome sub and the gnx124 blew em away????i had the volume on the alpine indash turned up between 10 and 15 the alpine indashes are preatty loud between that volume

the mm124 requires an assload of power -- 500 watts +++

it sounds great under that power... when u put it on a piddily **** 150 watts, forget about it.

the gnx is a 150 watt sub -- and on 150 watts it probably sounded better than the momo 124 on 150 watts. get my drift?

my personal pick out of all those subs would be two of the new mm2104 or 2124 -- put about 300 - 350 watts on each and call it a day -- something like an mtx 801D would be a good amp for them.

BIG downside of listening to MOMO subs at CC... Corporate in it's undying wisdom (not sarcasim) has declared that the momo's shall be displayed in ported enclosures. these subs do best in sealed enclosures so when you set them up in your car you'll get better SQ from them by going with the reccomended sealed enclosure...

with the ecception of the MM12 all MOMO subs are in ported enclosures, i went into my old CC to listen to the MOMO coax's and rub in the fact that i had the day after thanks giving off and went off on one of the newer sales reps about it... I was realy giving the guy a hard time mainly cause the box was one of the Q-Logic boxes that can either be ported or sealed thanks to a removable plastic cap and i was trying to get him to put the plug in, that and the little **** put a Audiobahn amp on it... DAMN CC... I hate corporate decisions from idiots who think the bose system in their car is good.......
