Clear Android browser information - ALL of it

No, this isn't about ****.
I want to clear the sites already visited history. For example, if I go to my local Craigslist, and I've been on "computers", "cars and vans", etc, even after I've cleared everything - history, cache, cookies - everything I can find to clear, when I return to browser and search my local CL, when the site comes up on the search it is shaded out to show I've already been there, and the specific categories like "computers" still show red/pink rather than blue. Same happens with, for example, CNN. I can search CNN.com in Google, go do the CNN site, back to Google, clear everything, close the browser, clear everything, then when I open browser/Google and search CNN.com again, it shows I've already been there.
But if I'm logged into my Amazon account, clear everything, close browser and clear everything, go back to Amazon, it doesn't show my specific account.
I've tried every solution I can find online, still doesn't clear everything like the visited sites.
