That's a very good price on the Denon! This unit is almost a clone of my AVR 2807 below. About 31 lbs. Rated at 110 watts x 7. Is probably one of the last of the intermediate Denons with PRE-OUTS to be made in Japan, not China! Only two HDMI 1.1 but they are capable of passing 1080P and multi-channel LCPM so if your blu-ray player can unpack HD soundtracks and send them out as LCPM then the Denon will play a lossless version of the new sound formats in 7.1 over its HDMI no problem. Something to think about at THIS PRICE. You'd have to spend over a $1000 today to get some of what this older Denon has! It also has Multi-analog inputs for 7.1 so you can go that way for blu-ray or SACD as well. And sound as a Pre/Pro? I'm still using mine in the basement--a real synergy with Polk speakers!
Good luck with the sale!
