1) Yamaha RV-1400 110W per channel 7.1 (or 5.2) Receiver, THX certified, owner's manual, remote control, component connections (no HDMI), optic (ToS) connections, programmable switching, originally paid $500
2) Custom designed and personally built 5.2 channel speaker system:
a) Center channel, internally braced, dual Polk DB Series 6.5" component speaker set, internal crossover, rated for 100W RMS
b) L/R front tower speakers with integrated self-powered 12" Infinity Beta woofers connected to dual California Profile 200SX Amplifiers at 240W RMS into 4 ohms, bridged, ~500W into 2 ohms with dual Polk DB Series 6.5" component speaker set, internal crossover, rated for 100W RMS
c) L/R rear bookshelf style speakers with dual Polk DB Series 6.5" component speaker set, internal crossover, rated for 100W RMS
d) All Polk speakers purchased from same lot to ensure common timbre
e) Dual MFJ 22A 12V continuous power supplies to supply power for the California Profile amplifiers
f) Total cost to build all speakers exceeded $1,200
3) Pioneer DVD player, component and optic (ToS), 24bit DAC, paid $400 back in 1999.
4) Various component cables, speaker cables with banana style connectors, optical ToS links, subwoofer RCA cables, power cables ALL INCLUDED, approximate value for cables alone is $400.

Everything is in working order, system is top notch, some dust cover damage on ALL the speakers' cone dust covers, but this does not affect sound quality or the power handling ability of the speaker set.
Perfect for a fraternity (or sorority) house for some seriously loud parties. All speakers made with extremely durable medium density fiber board with 2x2 internal bracing. Center channel speaker was designed to hold up to 500 lbs. All speakers covered with black speaker felt (easy to replace if color is an issue). Can't play system anymore with 4 children and it's taking up too much space... looking for a good home.

More pictures available upon request. $400 OBO!!!
