Right speaker volume drop...

So this morning when I turned on my music my right speaker volume seemed a little low. My source is a PC so I checked the soundcard settings and balance was good. Both channels were at 8% and pushing the right to 12% and they both sound right. I got busy for a bit and like 1hr later out of the blue the right side got much louder, setting the level back to 8% and they both sounded correct. I do remember this happening like a week ago too.
I first suspect the amp then maybe Pandora just dropped out for a bit. So far not really isolated it. Anyone had an amp do that?

yes when it's getting ready to blow the special smoke out it's arse
Sorry but you do probably have a problem and I doubt that Pandora is the culprit.2-ch System: Parasound P/LD 2000 pre, Parasound HCA-1000 amp, Parasound T/DQ Tuner, Phase Technology PC-100 Tower speakers, Technics SL-1600 Turntable, Denon 2910 SACD/CD player, Peachtree DAC iT and X1asynchorus USB converter, HSU VTF-3 subwoofer. -
If it makes you feel any better, I killed an Adcom 5400 (at least the left channel) last night using it to power a power hungry (which your Lsi's are) passive sub thru a brutal demo with the movie Cloverfield. It's a massive sub about bench size that I recently acquired as part of a trade and I over did it. It hits down to the low 20's mayber even teen Hz. Fun while it lasted and my couch was like a massage chair, but I think I actually vibrated something loose inside the amp. Saw your previous post about the crown amp and they have awesome specs, and was considering one for the sub that ate my Adcom, but everything has limits and sometimes learning where those are gets expensive. Good luck in getting it worked out.2-ch System: Parasound P/LD 2000 pre, Parasound HCA-1000 amp, Parasound T/DQ Tuner, Phase Technology PC-100 Tower speakers, Technics SL-1600 Turntable, Denon 2910 SACD/CD player, Peachtree DAC iT and X1asynchorus USB converter, HSU VTF-3 subwoofer.
