Need alternative center channel for the R300's
First, let me state that I am nowhere close to being an audiophile. I have an entry-level system in the man-cave consisting of:
- Mitsubishi DLP TV 82" (purchased before all the newer LED/LCD of that size were released)
- Yahama RX-V665 receiver
- Klipsch Quintet SL speakers
I am building a entry-entry system for the family room with:
- Vizio 65" M650VSE
- Yamaha RX-V371 (had to get it....only $150)
I bought the Polk R300's for $150/pair and were going to use those for the family room but the wife does not like them and would prefer something like the Klipsch Qunitet SL that are slimmer and on stands. I was going to take the R300's. The problem is that the voice-matched center channel is the CSR (or CS10) and both are more than 5" and will not fit into my space in the TV stand (the Klipsch center fits perfectly).
MY QUESTION....
Could I use the one of the Polk Blackstone TL series center channel along with the R300's?
Thanks
