Is it worth a buy ($70) to experience DTS 5.1 on the first one of the series (which I think the best one)?

I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

I bought the Alien Legacy awhile back - I think the packaging is better than the newer revamp and the PQ/SQ are abought as good as it gets. The revamp is simply to keep reviving the series for the new Alien movies and Alien and Predator movie.

I asked for the quadrilogy for Christmas, it will be good enough for me.
Polkatese - There is a big thread in HTF on the quadrilogy, it may have some specifics for you. I personally only know it exists, no specificsCTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint. -
thanks, guys! I'll check HTF..

Don't see enough to go out and buy over the Legacy set......
Just a revamp ploy for upcoming movies as I said. But I know the Legacy set was getting rare and pricy. -
I only like the first 2. I thought the 2nd two sucked!
I'll stick with the ones I have. Not sure how much was actually added to the first one or how marked an improvement it is over the first DVD release.
JohnNo excuses! -

just an FYI-the first 2 Alien movies from this new set will be available seperately in January. So no need to buy the whole set if you dont like the rest of the series (unlike the Indiana Jones set that forces you to buy the lame sequels)
