RTI 8's or LSI 7"s ?
I want to buy a pair of main's. Currently using RTI 4"s, and RTI 4's for center.
Using Onkyo 608 rated at 83 WPC with 5 channels driven. 100 Watts in Stereo.
I know the LSI's are 4 ohm.
I know the RTI 8's are bigger and fill a room up with sound better.
I'm going for quality.
Can I mix the Ohms like this and Not hurt the Onkyo ?
Will LSI as mains, sound ok with RTI's as center ?
Your advice will be welcomed, Thank you.

No, don't mix the LSI and RTI series speakers.

And definitely don't run lsi7s on that onkyo 608. That thing is not designed to run 4 ohm gear in the first place, plus you should generally avoid mixing 4 and 8 ohm speakers on the same receiver.Living Room 7.1 HT Rig:

Agree with both, the Lsi7's are great but you'll have to commit with a better avr with pre outs, an amp and lsi's all around.
