I am on strike. I won't watch a single game this year. When owners and players show such a careless disregard for Thor fans as the NHL has done(didn't they miss an entire season a while back??), it becomes clear to me that they don't need another dime from me. I may watch next season, but this year I'm on strike.

I used to be a HUMONGOUS Brooons fan, but since that strike in the early 90's, I've had them in LOCKOUT.

There was a point when i said i was through with the NHL for this season but then i remembered. Not a huge football fan and basketball blows so what's left?... Amateur bowling?

It'll be an interestingly short season with an overly long playoff schedule.....go hockey!

Are you kidding me? We're you spending any money on the league or your team? If you're a Kings fan, you're team won it all last year so you have no argument.

Enjoy the winter while I cheer on my team.

    GO JETS GO!

I have been a hockey player and a fan for most of my life actually. I played with Phil Housley in high school and was coached by some of the game's best, including Doug Woog and the legendary Herb Brooks during several summer league sessions. Being a Minnesotan, hockey is in the blood. What make that blood boil is watching players and owners fight over how much more cash the fans need to fork over during the most savage economic slump since FDR's great depression. The players and owners didn't suffer, but the consession workers, support personnel and the fans certainly did.

As with football last season, I am taking this season off from hockey. I will see what the players and the league do to make amends with their fans and maybe be back next year. If they do what they did after they blew off an entire season.... Then I will be done all together.

While I was busting your balls a bit John, I understand your view on the whole situation. I think, for myself only, I have mixed feelings only because I'm just thankful to have NHL back here after 15 long years without it. I agree that the whole issue this season wasn't handled right... Also didn't know how passionate you were about Hockey.

    Cheers bud
