How about this one? You can get one to go green or one that isn't so environmentally friendly....
Look real, real close....see anything "untypical" about this particular sports car?

The back windows roll down?? It don't look like a 4 door, and if it was it wouldn't be a sports car.. The car looks amazing..
What type of car is it? -
Yeah, it's indoors! Typically, sports cars are used outdoors!
-
Destino by VL automotive. made in Auburn Hills.
-
Cheater! You just had to go and back trace the photo, didn't you?
Correct. Do you know the original car though?

The Fiskers Karma?
I confess Tom, guilty as charged:redface: I just had to find out the car maker though.
Ford has a new concept pickup truck that's sweet too. -
You nailed it. It's the Fisker Karma. http://onward.fiskerautomotive.com/en-us
From the website...403Hp to the wheels, 959 pounds of tourque. Zero to 60 in 6.3 seconds. The link above is the stock hybrid/electric version that gets 54 mpg. Far cry from a Toyota Prius, eh?

Untypical? Are you talking about the turn signal side marker?
-
Nah, I was actually referring to the four doors. I can't recall ever seeing a sports car that looks so "sexy", if you will. Even though to some, it may not be [technically] a sports car. Now, if you go the Destino route? Holy smokes. Power to weight for a family sedan? Hubba, hubba...

I thought the fisker had the solar panels on the roof?? The ones I saw at a car show had them anyways. And I don't remember them looking like that. Maybe it's the angle of the picture..
BTW the ones I saw we're awesome!! The quality of the build was balls out IMO!! -
Larry, the Fisker does. The photo on the OP is actually the Destino. Perhaps they took out the solar panel on the mod. If they did remove it for the Destino, they should have kept it for a battery powered sound system free of artifacts from the power source. Yeah baby!

Very pretty.

That car looks amazing!!
-
Here's the Fisker Karma.
-
Pretty impressive!
403hp
0-60 6.3 seconds
54 MPG
And the Fisker Sunset is pretty slick too!

Gorgeuos car, but isn't that a pretty weak 0-60 time for something with 900+ ft/lbs of torque?Wristwatch--->Crisco

So the oddest thing I see in the first photo are the little arrows on the seats. Does the car's intended market require instructions as to where to sit? Here's the Fisker Karma.
Begging the question - will their inevitable SUV be monikered the Truckma?
Or... perhaps they'll contract Ghia to design and build the body of their forthcoming Karma Ghia?
Thank you, thank you. I'm here 'til Thursday. Try the veal. -

Looks awesome but 0-60 in 6.3 sports car my ****... Yea looks sporty but speed wise not so much.

Gotta keep in mind that it is a "green car", four door and it's a hybrid. It only has a 4-banger and batteries but it does get 54 mpg. Try getting that kind of mileage out of a Bugatti seen below.
Yeah, it'll get you 0-60 in 2.5 but it'll cost you $2,400.000.00 and a whopping 3 mpg. Slight difference...

The Karma is pretty amazing in person. They had one they were give test rides in outside the Philly Museum of Science when I was there a few months ago. Stunning vehicle, though we decided not to stand in line to ride... still very cool and drew a huge crowd.5.1 theater - Pioneer SC-07, Mirage OMD-CC center, 4 x Mirage Omnisats, Boston Acoustics VPS-210 sub

Yall musta not read the fine print. This is a GREEN car. lol For what it is, with a 4 cylinder and 54 mpg. I hardly think that 6.3 seconds is a bad trade off for that....and hot looking styling.--Gary--

Saw this on Natgeo about the Bugatti.
I looked for information on the sound system for the Destino but found very little. Choice of 100 or 295 watt system.
If the Destino is to rival the Porsche Panamera, they need to drop a Burmester system in the cabin. -
Burmester makes mobile audio?

Unless the "fine print" reads the thing weighs 8000 lbs or has pizza cutters on the drive axle, that 0-60 time doesn't make sense.Yall musta not read the fine print. true 53 MPG vs 3 but really when you can spend that much on a car who gives a **** how much fuel it will cost you its not like you can't afford it..Mitch

They actually do not make sense to me either. I'm guessing that it depends on what speed or gear the car is in. What I do know from the professional old radio control cars I used to play with is that their is no way a "real" car could take off that quick. Perhaps the measurement was taken from the lower speeds and not the upper end where the electricity power tends to drain considerably. Honestly, I do not know but I did think the same things as Strider when I first read the stats. 900 ft'lbs of torque should come close to snapping an unsecured neck upon takeoff. That's an insane amount of torque.
