front efects. need help

i am thinking of going 9.1 but dont how to set it up and what speakers to use? i think i saw befor someone had front efects thanks

    As far as I know, only a very few certain receiver allow the use of front effects speakers, mainly certain Yamaha models. Someone else may be able to chime in here to add the name of some others that allow the use. My RX-V3300 does, and I really like what it adds to the mix. It allows me to have a 8.1 setup.
