I currently have the Technics table but the Realistic is being offered to me for $50. Is it a better table or about the same?
Thanks

I've got several technics and also have the 440 w/ an Empire cartridge that sounds great. For $50 I'd buy it and see what you think. Won't be easy to swap carts back and forth though since they have differant style headshells.2-ch System: Parasound P/LD 2000 pre, Parasound HCA-1000 amp, Parasound T/DQ Tuner, Phase Technology PC-100 Tower speakers, Technics SL-1600 Turntable, Denon 2910 SACD/CD player, Peachtree DAC iT and X1asynchorus USB converter, HSU VTF-3 subwoofer.

If it were in really nice shape with a clear dustcover and all functions work well I'd say it's worth 100-25 depending on if it has a decent cart. My realistic needs the rca resoldered where I have a short or it would get more use.2-ch System: Parasound P/LD 2000 pre, Parasound HCA-1000 amp, Parasound T/DQ Tuner, Phase Technology PC-100 Tower speakers, Technics SL-1600 Turntable, Denon 2910 SACD/CD player, Peachtree DAC iT and X1asynchorus USB converter, HSU VTF-3 subwoofer.

Thanks for the help. I emailed the guy back, hopefully it's in good condition.

So the TT is about an hour away from me. From the pictures it looks to be in good condition. The cover is a little scratched and foggy but might polish out. Is it worth the 1hr drive and cleanup?

If Ihad one near me for $50, I'd go get it.2-ch System: Parasound P/LD 2000 pre, Parasound HCA-1000 amp, Parasound T/DQ Tuner, Phase Technology PC-100 Tower speakers, Technics SL-1600 Turntable, Denon 2910 SACD/CD player, Peachtree DAC iT and X1asynchorus USB converter, HSU VTF-3 subwoofer.
