For Sale is my nearly new, Onkyo receiver, Model TX-NR3008. I purchased this unit new in Mar 2011 from an authorized dealer and used it daily until Summer 2012, when I upgraded. It's rated 140 watts per channel and is listed as 9.2channels. Details about this receiver are available online at Onkyo USA.

I'm including the original packing, remote control, power cord, manual and a free iPod Dock, UP-A1. It's in perfect working order and has a new HDMI Board, replaced under warranty at an Onkyo service Center.

I will double box the receiver and have it professionally packed. (It is very heavy and in a huge box.) Packing, shipping and insurance are $75.00 flat. I have priced it very low for a fast sale and cannot negotiate.

$295.00 firm plus shipping, by Paypal gift or Certified check. PM me for any further details.

No Lowball Offers please.

Is 295 including shipping or without? I might know someone interested pending that answer....

    You have a PM.
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

Thanks, let me know if Neil passes. My friend (who I work with) is VERY interested and I believe I can nudge him over the cliff (and he will thank me for it). Heck if I had the money for it myself, I wouldnt have even told him about it .

I sent you a PM with a question about this as well.

This is priced insanely. I had to think hard about it, but I'm not really into surround-sound like I used to be.

hehehe, see underlined section of post

Hehehe, I debated doing it myself and asking for forgiveness later, decided not to and in the end still won as I have some new speakers incoming

The main reason I bought it was to try out XT32. I was hoping that it will do a better job with integrating subs in my room than my Marantz with just XT. My room is difficult with limited options for room treatments.

Glad I missed this, or I'd be outside sleeping for awhile. But hell with zone 2 and 3 outs I would still have had sweet tunes :)

Yeah, congrats to the OP and the new owner. I wish I had seen it as well. I think my TX-NR5007 hdmi board will cost almost as much to repair as this whole unit transaction would have run me!

Thanks Dan for the easy purchase and great deal.

The receiver arrived in great condition yesterday. Just when I was unpacking it my brother in-law called and said he was final ready to set-up his home theater. I boxed it back up and brought it over to his house today. We got everything set-up and it sounds great. He was so wowed by it that he asked to keep it.

I am a little disappointed that I did not get to try XT32 out in my house, but I have been very happy with my Marantz sr7005. I am happy that he got his theater room up and running, since he has a true dedicated theater room instead of makeshift home theaters in multi-purpose rooms like I do. Now I have a good reason to go over to his house.

Neil, you shoulda used that as the reason you needed the extra filters of XT32 over him and let him have the Marantz instead lol....

    Glad it all worked out!

I'm glad you (and your brother-in-law) liked the receiver and everything worked out for both of us. Best wishes.
