rti28 fronts with csi40 center??
rti28 fronts...csi40
Any one running that set up?
How does it sound?
Would you rather have the 38's?
I just purchased the csi40 off ebay and I am leaning towards the 28's to go along with it because of limited space to place them, and the lower price.
Do they blend well?
Thanks for your time!

I have not heard the 28's but have heard the 38's and own the 40. If you have the 40, I would go with at least the 38's. I would think that the 28's wouldn't be enough of a speaker to keep up. The 40 is roughly twice the size of the 28's, digs deeper and would have a fuller sound than the 28's would. In fact, the 38's barely keep up. In the long run I believe you would be happier with the 38's if they can fit into your room and budget.
You got a great center channel though and timbre matching shouldn't be a problem with either solutionThere is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin -
I also think the RTi38's would be a better choice. The RTi28 is a great speaker, but the low prices on the whole line is enough to justify a larger speaker purchase.
The RTi38 does have more robust sound character than the RTi28.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
