Power isn't everything.
There are a few speakers that could be driven by a total of 150 watts (5.1 with sub) that I'd demo first. Especially at that point.Make it Funky! -
power is everything to me. that sub is 40000. Yup thats not an error that is exactly what it costs. The case is diamond cut to ensure no port distortion and now to mention it metal because of the crazy compression of it. If you dont believe me of it quality go to

Notice the B4+ in some pretty good company at a fraction of the cost!

Oh boy, have you got a lot to learn. For starters, don't believe everything you read in Stereophool.Political Correctness'.........defined
"A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a t-u-r-d by the clean end."

I concur F1nut... Also: Expensive doesn't neccessarily mean good, nor do watts neccessarily mean sonic power (let alone sound good).
The B4+ or the B-DEAP subs would easily destroy that sub for a fraction of the cost.
Besides, how much wattage can the b4+ take? Last I saw 2500W was possible without it bottoming out but no would dare turn it up louder. B4+ Review
The B-DEAP subs are super efficient, horn loaded speakers:
B-DEAP
I would take either (With the apropriate amp, eq, etc..) over the Krell in a heartbeat and be in at less than an eigth the costThere is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin -
