Hey... i Got 2 Rockford fosgate Punch 1694 speakers, 75 watts rms each, 150 watts peak each..
i have found 2 good low cost Amps for these speakers..
1st) http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-BOSS-CE202-200W-2-CH-CAR-AUDIO-AMPLIFIER-AMP-2-CHANNEL-200-WATT-/280999961220?_trksid=p2047675.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D11%26meid%3D4850009365171901972%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D1005%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D200867520464%26
2nd) http://www.ebay.com/itm/BOSS-AUDIO-R1002-NEW-RIOT-SERIES-200-WATTS-2-CHANNEL-HIGH-POWER-AMPLIFIER-AMP-/230911785519?pt=Car_Amplifiers&hash=item35c36a3a2f&vxp=mtr
The first one gives 50 watts Rms per channel, 25 watts Rms less than speaker need..
and 2nd one gives 100 watts rms per channel, 25 watts Rms more than speaker need..
Now Which one should i buy? the one 25 watts lower or the one 25 watts more Rms than speaker need ?
which gives good performance without harming/damaging speakers life or Amp's life.. ?
or u can give other suggestions with this price range..
Thanks in advance.

I say the same thing I said about the $30 amps you had in your other thread - wouldnt touch them with a barge pole.
If youre dead set on spending no more than $50 for an amp then it doesnt really matter which one you get. Theyll all be pitifully low quality so just pick the one you like best.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

And i said before bro.. i dnt wanna show off my system in competition or i dnt wanna shake the whole neighbourhood.. i dnt like that much ... just decent clear sound and boomy bass. thats it.

Yeah I totally get that but that doesnt mean run down to the nearest flea market and get some piece of crap amp that is going to catch on fire the first time you turn the volume up.
Im not saying you need a $2000 Zapco amp or anything but you at least want something better than a $40 amp. Here you go. Boston Acoustics 80x2 for $100 shipped. Its on clearance and about 50% off. Its a well built amp that will last you a long time, not give you any problems or noise issues. This is what you should get and not some cheaply made Boss or Soundstorm thats going to give you headaches and problems. You go much cheaper than that and youre begging for problems.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

Another option is to get something used. You can get decent gear for good prices.
As for the Boston amp....solid choice that will make its rated power. Its a great deal on a very nice amplifier.
The amps you have mentioned are pretty low in quality & their ratings seem inflated. Meaning you will not get the advertised power, and longevity may not be there. Better to get something that is of good quality & pay for it once.Alpine: CDA-7949

Agreed, don't buy a fleamarket amp.

Refurbished from JBL themselves, have purchased several amps from them and lots of equipment, also checkout the polk eBay site as well for cheap quality amps.Receiver

Just remember, never turn your amps all the way up because the quality of power it lets out begins to get sloppy. (like when you turn your speakers up and the sound gets distorted) The sloppy power from the amp can mess up your speakers.

And no, those 2 ebay links you posted are crap as well. Jensen is typical fleamarket crap and Polk PA330 - well, it's my opinion only, not FACT but I don't like these newer PA amps at all even given that it's POLK. To me it seems like Polk went into cheap-****-market with those PA amps. (only newer PA amp, def not PA500.4, 250.2....)
and why not simply follow the link MacLeod provided for Boston Acoustics amp?? Great amp, awesome price, why waste time and dig thru garbage while great item is right in front of you??2008 Nissan Altima
