Center Channel Placement
I have a CSi5 and am having a new cabinet made for my equipment. The placement of the center channel is going to end up right under the TV with the bottom of the speaker about 19" off of the floor. The CSi can be flipped over so that it aims up when you put it low. Also, my sofa is about 10' from the TV. My only worry is that if I have the center in the flipped configuration that the "aim" will to high when you are sitting 10' away. Any thoughts?
A lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part...

I use an old three ring binder as a wedge to aim it where I want my center to go. You could try the same. There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin

Good suggestion. Someone else said they used rubber door stops (wedge type) with success. -
I used small rubber glue-on feet on each corner of my center, and rubber door stops to angle it. The glue-on feet protect the top of the TV and eliminates any splipping. Works great.;)Everytime I think I'm out, THEY PULL ME BACK IN!!!!!!

I used to have my center under the tv, but in my small room it was too close to the listening area and I thought I could localize it too well. This was how I solved it. 2 CS400's biamped. Much better now but room still too small! P.S. Yes I know my left speaker stand still needs work.:) I guess my picture doesn't want to come up.SDS-400, SDA-1B, SVS 20-39pc+, B&K Ref 50, Denon 2900
