Lsi25 crossover mod installation

I've not seen much information about Lsi25 XO mod. I ordered and got it installed recently. Since someone else did the XO so this post is just about the installation of it.
Pictures say it all, I just want to highlight some key points:
1. The crossover (for the tweeter and the two woofers, "MTW") is not located behind the binding posts.
2. The upper pair of the binding posts feed to all MTW. The lower pair are solely for the subwoofer if used.
3. Depending on the height of your XO, it could be mounted on the same backwall vertically but it would be just an inch or two away from the woofers which is not the best idea.
4. I chose to install it externally on top of the Lsi25 with DIY acrylic enclosure.
5. I didn't notice that the depth of the upper chamber for MTW is actually a lot shorter than the total depth of Lsi25. You won't see it from outside. If I remember correctly, it's 7 inches shorter. So I ended up buying a 12" long drill bit to drill through the outside wall and an inside wall.
4233, 4234 - inside of the back plate (you don't need to open/touch it)
4231, 4237 - goes up to the upper chamber
4235 - location of the stock XO (with fibers removed)
4240 - drilled two holes from the outside
4242 - drilled through to the upper chamber (too close to the corner)
4244, 4248, 4256 - final look (although there is no lid yet)

Very nice!
I wanted to point out (as I have been down this road with a LSi15) you would have to build the crossover in the top chamber because it simply will not fit through the woofer cutout.
Enjoy!- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
didn't think of that. You are absolutely right. My XO is 6.5inch wide.

THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!!!!
Ha, well, ok. Anyway, those look GREAT, I'm interested to see how you feel about the modded 25's vs. 9's. Congrats. -
The sections in front barely squeezed through the midwoofer holes. The sections in the back were secured in the woofer cavity. When all was said and done, I'm glad I could have done this mod for a friend, but I doubt I'd want to be bothered doing it again....

Aww c'mon Face you know you wanna do mine .. Although this is I think the first time I have seen the 25's done. SK88, You still using the stock woofer or did you upgrade that to something else too?"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Heck I am still waiting for one of you crazies to do a Monastery mod on the LSi15/25...
This would blow the roof off!- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -

LOL, Trey you know I want to mod my 15's and the LSiC (I even kept the stock box for just that reason)... dont know if the wife would let me do the externals for the main stuff....
But I am still debating that OB build which you would get to have some fun with...."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
The OB would be fun!
I always thought it would be sweet to strap a custom enclosure to the back of the LSi15/LSi25 that is about the width of the enclosure but have cherry side panels and aluminum top maybe 20" or so long that would house the components... would be like the Tyler project I did - just a much nicer enclosure- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall.
