Time to thin the herd. I've been experimenting with amps for my 2 channel set up & finally
have a keeper in the Proceed I picked up from nwohlford. The Adcom & B&K are listed locally,
but I'll give a better price to forum member.

Adcom GFA-5400- Nice little amp, very quiet, good punch. 125 WPC @ 8 ohms.
Faceplate has a couple scratches, nothing major. $180 + shipping.

B&K ST1400- Nice little amp as well, a little smoother than the Adcom, warmer maybe?
120 WPC @ 8 ohms. Both RCA & XLR inputs. Clean face with 2 very small scratches.
$180 + shipping.

Bryston 3B- Outstanding, dual mono design amp, VERY QUIET! Articulate, clean sound.
120 WPC @ 8 ohms. Face is discolored & scratched from rack mounting.
$300 + shipping.

Musical Fidelity V-Linkii- Perfect condition, tried both i & ii, prefered i, seemed to mate better
with my MAC. $100 shipped.

Would the adcom push 4 ohm speakers?

The manual lists a 4 ohm power rating of 200 watts.
I would think it would be OK, might run a little warmer?
