Looking for Monitor 40 Equivalent for Fronts
Here was a recent thread of mine, had a lot of helpful feedback, thank you for that again.
Long story short, budget set up, Onkyo TX-NR609 receiver, already purchased CS2 center and Monitor30s x 4 for surrounds and rears, decided on Monitor40s for fronts and PSW110 or 505 for sub. Thing is I can't find 40s for sale anywhere under $200, ebay has a listing, but would rather not purchase used right now. Newegg is out of stock, and from the looks of their inventory for the rest of the Monitor Series II line, possibly going to be discontinued.
Is there another line of speakers that will go well with the CS2 + 30s, that's under $150? 45Bs? or should I just get another pair of 30s again? Very tempted to spend the extra money for 50s or 60s on Polk's ebay site, but haven't found a way to fit them by the TV area yet, also wife will not approve for the same reason (too big).
Any help is appreciated.
