Used this unit with great results for hooking up my computer to my Peachtree Nova which I recently just sold.
Here is a link to a write up on the item. Basically if you want the new pretty silver version you can pick those up for about 50 bucks more. This worked great for bypassing my mac's dac and letting the outboard dac do the work. Let me know if you have any questions. Here is a stock picture for reference.
Thanks for looking

Thanks. I have just been trying it out at work today which is not where I will be using. This weekend I will get to playing around with it on my home system for a while.
I see you have added the 702s. Are you going to add a lsim center channel as well? -

Yea, eventually. I'm using a single 703 as a center now. I think I'm going to sell the 707's and try to find a pair of 705's. The 707's are just too big and deep for my space. Once I sell them I'll get a 704c and then keep an eye out for a pair of 705's.2-Channel: PC > Schiit Eitr > Audio Research DAC-8 > Audio Research LS-26 > Pass Labs X-250.5 > Magnepan 3.7's

If you do that, talk to TNHNDYMAN, he might be interested...."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
