All,

I am selling a CDP-XA3ES, bought it new from GG in 1997 for $700. It has and continue to work flawlessly. I have too many CDP/DVD players in the house right now and I've been using it on my two channel system. Price is $300 + shipping, and will take picture if anybody interested. As a reference, there is one on Ebay auction right now, going at $355 and counting, but for Polk members, this is my chance to give back to the community. I have box and manual.

ps: this is not mine, and to be fair, I would rate mine 8/10 due to age. I'll check the unit tonight if anybody interested.

Thanks....

Thanks, Jesse! Please share your impressions of the MF Nu-Vista CDP once you have it (I think you mentioned it once after you sold your 777)...

    Happy Thanksgiving!

The transport door of my MF Tri-Vista SACD player came in jammed in a half open position (DAMN FEDEX), so it went right back to the factory for warranty repair. I'll post a review once it returns.

Now, somebody buy the XA3ES, at $300.00 it's a steal.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

Anybody interested in a trade with a Philips 963SA for this unit?

In stock condition, this Sony will compete nicely on redbook. I need the Philips for my second modded player with tube stage output. No looking back for me, the tube is so much better. I am looking at Consonance SACD player , but don't need SACD feature, strictly for 2 channels.

The 963SA is a great option because it shares the same DAC and transport as SACD1000, the rest will be gutted out and replaced.

    Anyone?

ok, since there is no bite, (and I am too lazy to baby sit the sale on Ebay) I will sweeten the deal: I'll throw in the tuner in the pics for that price. I have no box, but manual should be somewhere in the closet (not that you need it, since it is straight forward tuner T-33). Tuner was bought new from Roger Sound Labs, forgot how much I paid, but it is fully functional, had limited used since I have receivers for many years. Reception is decent, not spectacular. I will securely box it up.

I find myself to be lazy about the Ebay thing also....its such a long process to sell a bunch of things sometimes. That is one nice CD player....someone should get off their arse and buy up :)

Thanks, Doro! I am also surprise that I get no bite on this puppy. I really need to get into some kind of gears upgrade program so that I don't end up with too many gears sitting on the shelves...
