I just picked up a pair of RT15i to hook up to my Sony STR-D965 Dolby prologic reciever, with a dual 6.5" passive sub. The reciever and Sub are Hand-me-Downs from my parents so aren't the latest technology. ( I am only 16) and don't want to buy a whole bunch of expesive speakers for my Computer area when my parents have the whole setup 10 Ft above me.
I am using the audio out from my computer and running it into the reciever just with Regular RCA plugs and then wires to the sub then to the two RT15Is. It sound pretty good but i want to get them to the right and left of me with out my monitor being effected.
The area is unfinished so i can drill holes just about anywhere and drill stuff to the 2x10s sitting verticle on the roof.
How shouldi i go about mounting these on the roof pointing down at an angle towards my Listening area?
If you need more info just ask and i will try to clear things up.
Thanks for any help

Couple ways to go here.
First, you could get some
"omnimount brackets available on the polk audio site. Go to bookshelf speakers....click rt15i...
click accessories.
Second way is cheaper. Buy some bike hooks (to hang a bike) and either make or buy a support out of cord. (like a hanging plant holder)
then just play with speaker position until it sounds good to you.
